THE MAN WHO KNEW INFINITY

Srinivas Ramanujan ( 22 december 1887- 26 April 1920)
His birthday is National Mathematics in many countries

He is a great mathematician . He is called greatest mathematical thinker of modern time . He never got any training for learning mathematics , still he gave a large contribution to field of numbers and fields . It is our fortune that genius like Srinivas sir born in India .
He is very different from childhood . He learned Mathematics by ownself and made about 3,884 theorems which made the modern world . He worked tremendous in the field of Number System .
Even now his some theorems doesn't have a valid proofs . In his honour a journal is created and named " Ramanujan Journal" .
He was born in village named Erod which is about 400 km away from Madras (chennai) . His worked as data entry person at a cloth shop . Ramanujan father admitted him in a school at the age of five.
Ramanujan asked once his school teacher that what will happen if we divide zero by zero (you can think a school child think like that ) I think by this question he started answer related to infinity and gave some proofs on infinity too.
As we know Ramanujan likes maths from childhood , at the age of 13 he solved The great of Triginometry by S.L, Loney . and by the age of 15 he solved Synopsis of elementry mathematics and applied mathematics by George , he solved all 5000 theorems given in that book Ramanujan got admitted in university but he failed in all subjects except mathematics . He drop out his university and still working on mathematical research ( every successful person drop out college)
After some he got marriage , so he has to some work for daily life . He suffered poverty some times , his wife don't understand some time what he really does with mathematics but after some time she get the point it is Ramanujan life.
He get Rs. 25 as his wage He worked for Indian mathematical society for one year under MR. Ram chandra Rao , led him to work for Madras Port as a peon .
In 1911 he published a paper on Bernoulli numbers , which made him famous and in 1913 He wrote a letter to G.M . Hardy .
At lunch table Hardy found Ramanujan letter and after reading he said ' there is some crazy person in India ' . He ignored the letter but felt tensed because he never seen theorems and works like that Ramanujan sent him , so he called Ramanujan in Cambridge England
So after leaving his wife in India in promise that he will come back went to England
At Trinity he found a friend and a great mathematician of India Mr. P.C. Mahalanovis
Being a vegetarian he felt so many problems Ramanujan make his food by his self .
Hardy and Ramanujan became friends and In 1916 He got his B.sc
Ramanujan made more than 3 thousand theorem which were researched by cambridge professor for more 20 years and still being researched .
He gave some interesting things like
1729 = 12*12*12+1*1*1 and 1729 = 10*10*10+9*9*9
He reached India backwards as he felt ill due to climate of England which is very cold for any Indian .
He spent his last life as 3 months in Chennai , 2 months in Kodmandi and 4 months in Kumbhkodam . He spent a very little time with his wife ..
He died at the age of 32 years in 26 April 1920

He is only person in world who is compared to Newton
If he lived he could have made world a better place
